    Hi all,

Been searching the net for some time now and have been told about boards.ie, must say there is alot of great info on the site.

I have recently started going the gym quite alot and need to no if jack3d would be ok to take as a pre-work out supp. The issue i have is that im in the military and we get random drug tests every now and then, and i'd hate to think i would fail a test if i was taking it.

I have looked it up on various sites and it seems to be a very grey area.
Any help in this would be much appreaciated.

Please forgive me if i have posted on the wrong page, im new to this.

    Thanks in advance.

    with the new headshop laws

Geranamine (1,3-Dimethylamylamine or Methylhexamine) might be a problem

    Use as a recreational drug
In New Zealand, methylhexanamine (under the name 1,3-dimethylamylamine or DMAA) is an emerging active ingredient of party pills [6], where it has replaced benzylpiperazine or BZP which has been illegal in that country since 2008. Serious adverse effects including headache, nausea, and stroke have been reported in recreational users of these products.[7] In November 2009, the New Zealand government indicated that methylhexanamine would be scheduled as a restricted substance. Listing a drug as a restricted substance in New Zealand means it would be illegal to:[8]

Sell or supply methylhexanamine to anyone under 18
    Advertise methylhexanamine in the media
Offer methylhexanamine as a gift or reward
Sell or supply methylhexanamine from premises where alcohol is sold or from service stations
Sell methylhexanamine from any premises where children or minors gather

Dont risk it if you're in any doubt.
    Pre workout - stong espresso
Post workout - whey, glutamine, creatine, carbs etc etc etc

Well you could ring the DTT in Colaiste and ask.

But mud sticks, and the Defence Forces are really anti-most things. Check out the gyms in the barracks and ask why they're not selling supplements!.

I'd avoid it and go with the advice 'The Davestator' gave you.

And tbh, even when proper, pure ephdrine was sold OTC here a strong coffee or two pre-workout was every bit as good.

Don't take the chance, esp. if your on the new contracts.

PM me if you want anymore advice on training & the job.
