I've recently started to do some upper body work although for years I've done a fair bit of cycling and jogging but would normally keep it to 3 or 4 days a week at the most. For the upper body work I've been aiming for 5/6 days a week and I am wondering if this is reasonable or should I alternate it with jogging, so far Ive been doing an ab routine, pressups, chin up bar and will add some light weights and a few others as I build up my strength. My exercise goal is mainly weight control and building up some strength in my upper body to avoid back pain in the garden and the like.

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer
