    I’m playing a game 5-a-side football at 8pm tonight.

Haven’t played in ages. The game is kinda late so I’ wondering what sorta food should I eat before it to keep me going?

    Stodge central IMO.

I would say within reason eat a normal dinner. Make sure it has carbs. Finish eating 2-3 hours beforehand.

Maybe a banana 30 minutes before the start if you didn't get enough carbs with your dinner.

I have a bowl of pasta 2-3 hours before I play.
I throw in some dolmio carbonara sauce and maybe a pack of tayto's to taste it up! :D

What Khannie said after is important.
If you have 2 hours, just eat a good dinner, meat and spuds veg whatever.
You have heaps of time to digest it.

It won't be lack of energy from food that slows you down.

This thread is the first time I have heard or seen tayto referred to as a cooking ingredient
