Tea - Milk or sweetner?

I drink alot of tea. I've just finished a 3 day diet (I know, I know, but I needed some sort of kickstart!) and wasn't allowed to have milk in my tea within that time, I was however allowed to have artificial sweetener and so I was having 3 cups of tea a day with canderell (1/2tsp), which I surprisingly found to be quite easy to drink.

My question is, which is better for you diet wise? Tea with milk, or tea with sweetener?

Giving up tea isn't really an option for me, it's the one thing that I wouldn't ever sacrifice! and I really can't take it without either.

I'm not really a fan of honey, but I would be willing to try it if it's better diet wise!

Btw, I could have up to 7 cups of tea in a day

I love tea with no milk and a half spoon of honey couldn't drink it with milk now!
Hope to hear it's healthy :D

I would go with tea and milk. There are nutritional benefits to milk, there are none at all to Canderel. Plus, learning to drink tea without sweetener will not only be good for your health, but will also improve your appreciation of tea. There are lots of teas with all sorts of subtle flavours that you simply can't taste if they are drowned in sweetness.
