Favourite class setups

So, what are your preferred class setups on a certain game mode?

For TDM/Ground War/Domination I go with:

Primary: AK-47 w/FMJ or RPD w/Grip
Secondary: Spas-12 w/Grip

Sleight of Hand
Stopping Power
Ninja

And then the standard 5,7,9 killstreaks.

For FFA I go with:

Primary: M16w/Red Dot or MP5K w/FMJ
Secondary: Stinger

Marathon
Stopping Power
Commando(M16) or Steady Aim(MP5K)

Equipment: Throwing Knife and Flash Bang

And then the standard 5,7,9 killstreaks
or 3,4,5 killstreaks

Class 1:
Intervention w/ FMJ (or thermal for Afghan/Overgrown only)
Spas-12 w/ Grip
Claymore
Flash x2
Sleight Hand Pro
Stop Power Pro
Steady Aim Pro
Martyrdom (Hopefully it doesn't come to that :pac:)

Class 2:
ACR w/ RDS
Spas-12 w/ Grip
Semtex/C4
Flash x2
Scavenger Pro
Stop Power Pro
Ninja Pro
Painkiller

For both classes I have 5,7,11. Unless I'm going for challenges (as I am now - Carpet Bomber Title), so it's 3/6/7, die, and then work to uav again, and release the harrier/precision from the previous round (I'm told it's the easiest way)

I'm still relatively low levelled, and I don't like any of the other 3rd tier perks I have so far. I also have a Cold Blooded class with Stinger for killstreak demolition, and then the other class I just use that to stick random guns on to try and get unlocks for them/perks. I think I'm working on Scrambler and P90 in it at the mo.

Sure it takes two shots to kill them, but who cares if they don't know where the shots are coming from

I had a bit of a thought and tried something by myself in a private match there, put a tac insertion on my heavy class, the one with RPD and stinger ,got myself killed (only really works with a level that has an exploding barrel, or just get an enemy to kill you) then before I respawned picky my light class, ran back and got my RPD from my dead body, marathon, lightweight and steady aim with an RPD? fun!

By any chance you werent playing on xbox tonight? Was playing a few mtdm's and another guy was using riot shield with blast shield. Never seen a set up like that before?

Sticking them with semtex won't kill them, as long as their health is full.

I've used it a few times but prefer c4 or the throwing knife as you can only bash people to death (and Jebus knows the riot shield is hard enough to use what with seemingly random stabs getting around it all the time ).

I was actually.:D

Although, after a few minutes of most games, at least one other person from each team started using riot shields as well. There's a chance that who you saw was one of those people.

There is one thing I love about this. I've come across several people complaining about hacking cause an Intervention with FMJ wasn't getting 1 shot kills every time. Dunno why people don't get that FMJ doesn't increase damage, it just increases wall penetration.

Thats the reason I use it, I have gotten a lot of kills through walls using it, I don't like any scopes on the intervention other than the default and prefer not to use the sensor or a silencer so I just throw the FMJ on it instead. Don't assume someone is using it for the damage m8 :P

Yeah, I wasn't saying you were, I just found it funny in games when people think that it does increase it.

Could have been. Only reason I ask is its the first time I have ever seen the blast shield icon come up when someone hit a claymore of mine.... been playing since xmas so thats a rare piece of equipment to see being used.

Tar21 (RDS currently, but that's just to go through the challenges. Usually would be silencer when everything is unlocked.)
AA12 (grip but will be extended mags when I have it unlocked)
Scavenger
SPP
Steady Aim (will move to Ninja when I complete Steady Aim challenge)
Claymore

UMP (Silencer & FMJ - will go to just Silencer when I unlock extended mags)
Spas (might try G18's on these from tonight, to unlock the akimbos)
Bling (will change to Marathon when I unlock extended Mags)
SPP
Ninja
Throwing knife/Semtex (depends on game mode. Semtex on Domination, TK on TDM)

I've also used the RPD a good bit this time, and plan on completing the full challenge with it.

I like this class because i always get great & consistent scores with it & also its very easy to use :cool:

First time round I only really used Spas. First prestige I only used the Intervention. Now I've prestiged again it's back to Spas :pac:

EDIT 2: For something actually on topic, Barret 50 cal. with FMJ and thermal sight, Spas 12 with grip and FMJ, Bling Pro, Stopping Power Pro and Steady Aim Pro would be my most used setup.
