Buying Runners / Trainers Online

Hi There,
I'd imagine there has been a thread already about this but i want to purchase a decent pair of asics online and wondering what your experiences have been like purchaing this way. I stumbled over champion sports website earlier and only during checkout is there an option to select shoe size !!..needless to say, only one option of size 6 was available for selection (in the mens section) ..anyway.
well have any of you purchased from abroad and can recommend from previous experiences.

I think they're great, but I'm no shoe expert. My other runners had just started cutting into my feet so needed to be replaced.

Buying those was the first time I ever bought runners online and so I was a little fearful of the size being wrong or other silly issues arising that wouldn't occur if I just bought in a shop.


They were doing the free running socks deal (though you get a free t-shirt now aswell with them it seems) and so I was happy enough to get them.

Bought two more pairs of those socks that you get free (as it was partly my socks that caused my older runners to kick my ass).

Overall, the order (ordered on a Sunday evening) arrived on a Wednesday Morning and everything was intact and seemed perfect. Haven't done any real running or anything, but have worn the runners for hours on end over the past week and they're extremely comfortable for me (though, due to the shape of them and their softer-than-normal sole, I can't do squats in the gym with them - I keep kinda rolling forward ).


As I say, it was the first online runner order I ever made, so I don't know how they stack up to others, but the price was good to me, the product arrived excellently (and fairly quick), and as a result, I would highly recommend that website to anyone.

Maybe I should have should have said something instead of just pasting links.. It's just that theres a lot of ill-informed or totally uninformed information swapped around when it comes to running shoes and rather than buying a pair of classics, its possible that you might be better off buying some very minimal type of shoe.. Personally, I run in a pair of totally worn out onitsuka tiger's, so worn down that that the whole insole is gone and theres no cushioning really at all.. I honestly couldn't wear running shoes now as the way I run now feels so much more natural..
