The people who die too much in MW2 still play it if that's any help.

No the people who are sick of noobtubes, commando and boosters play it.

Was thinking of picking this up last week. Never really got into call of duty until mw2. My local gameshop were looking for 30euro for a second hand original version. Amazon are selling the game of the year version for under 20euro.

    i beg to differ tbh.

As the old saying goes if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

    Same rule applies here.

differ all you like , you don't know what youre talking about

    mw >>>>>>>>>>>> mw2

one lad on here gave an excellent description of mw2

    "just one big explosion"

differ all you want, doesnt make it true. I play MW2 all the time, dip in and out of MW1 but you can easily see from playing it theres less camping, noobs and general gobsh1tery going on during the games. I'll start playing it more at some point but for the moment MW2 is my main focus, besides MW1 is almost universally regarded as one of the best online fps's ever, MW2 is buggy, glitchy, riddled with stupid kids and cheap kills.

as for "not standing the heat" lol, I can easily hold my own in MW2, you're more than welcome to jump into a game I'm in if you play on PS3

    Err no.

People who have played with me here know how I score.. and I certainly don't die too much in MW2 yet I still play COD4 regularly.

    MW2 has nothing on COD4.

The reason i don't play mw1 anymore is because it's too easy.

Prefer mw2 as i find it harder. Personal choice of course.

@OP: If I rage quit, due to Noobtubes/commando, twice in one night I will move back to COD4 for that night (as krudler has said).

Out of interest, what's on the GOTY edition? If you get that, do you get all the bonus material as well, or will you still have to pay for the extra maps etc etc...

Might pick it up for the XBox myself. I've gotten a loan of a copy but haven't gotten to play it yet. So might return that and buy a copy for myself...

You get the map pack that was released for it. (there was only one map-pack)

Play.com are selling the original game for €51.99 delivered, but the GOTY edition for €28.99. Go figure the rationale behind that one....

With Gamestop trade in, the original is worth more than the GOTY edition.

I've a friend who logged on to COD2 online one night, he said there were still lots playing on that. That's the good thing about these games, I'm sure in 5 years there'll still be people playing MW1 and MW2.

Just so everybody knows, Bad Company is and for ever will be 10 times better than either COD4 or MW2.

    psn :

I played it for the xbox a few weeks ago. Every game joined had people with low ranks (same with WAW), probs everyone getting it second hand. It was bit refreshing to play with the 3 bog standard killstreaks.

I still think MW2 is harder though.
