RAW 05/07 *Spoilers*

Tonight's edition of WWE Raw is being broadcast live from The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. As of now, there has not been a guest host announced for the show. According to the arena website, the main event of the evening, which will likely be the dark match main event, is John Cena and Randy Orton vs Sheamus and Edge.

Will the GM be revealed?

I do hope the GM is revealed but I fear the WWE will use the secret GM for quite a while

Yep, his visa issues are resolved and he's scheduled to be on the card tonight

Either way, it's Michael Cole. Vinstant messenger! Each week he should get a new prop, like the podium, to show his position as Voice of Raw to the point where he's got a tricorne hat, bell, a special robe, trumpet fanfare, choir, glitter, MNM paparazzi and red carpet before declaring that he has an announcement from the general manager. :pac:

I'd be suprised if we find out who is GM tonight, I would imagine they'll leave it till the PPV or the Raw after it as WWE will try and milk it for as long as possible

Here's hoping for another Sheamus promo to open the show. After he said 'gammy' and 'tacky' last week I'm expecting nothing less than a verse of Maniac 2000 by Mark McCabe.

If the Nexus guys do the same beatdown thing that they've done the past few weeks then I shall be disappointed. They need to do something different.

well obviously they wont reveal the new GM tonight. they will tell us a week in advance that the GM will be anounced so they can draw in ratings. it would be a waste just saying who the GM is when they are making a big deal out of it

Anonymous GM I can put up with. But this stupid triple beep, lights dimming, Michael Cole getting up on a pedestal thing though is driving me up the bloody wall.

I disagree. Cole's doing his confident NXT voice. Which would only make sense if he's the GM.

Nexus in the ring. Barrett says McMahon thought he could control them but was wrong. They have an agenda but no-one knows what it is. GM beeps and Cole says that the ban on Superstars and Nexus attacking each other has been lifted.

Cena's music hits and leads down a team of six other faces to make it a fair fight but seven heels led by Sheamus attack them from behind allowing Nexus to get away. Sheamus says only Cena is Nexus' target and that's fine by them.

The GM declares that Cena and Barrett will call a truce later in the night and shake each other's hands. Cena says no. GM says he needs Cena to be the bigger man and quotes Steve Austin's catchphrase.

Morrison Vs DiBiase w/ Maryse. Maryse distracts Morrison by standing on the apron in his coat. DiBiase pokes Morrison in the eye and hits Dream Street for the win.

It just is so inconsistent though. If he's heel, fine. But so is Maryse. So it shows us Cole kissing her hand.

First half has been a good show I thought. The Divas Championship match probably won't be much but still.

Oh and all Nexus' (ie Barrett's) championship title shot privileges have been suspended aswell. Forgot to mention that.

was it not said on RAW last night that no nexus member could compete for the title until further notice? Also, did Barrett not win a title shot as part of winning NXT in the first place?
