    Hi all,
I have an ongoing problem in that I am forever getting cramps in my calves. They look quite swollen too. The doctor suggested doing exercises to stretch them- can anyone recommend any?

You might want to look past stretching. I used to get a lot of cramps in my calves and feet, foam rolling my calves a few times a week sorted it out.

foam rolling them would help lots as all the stretching in the world is not going to make a massive difference. its covered here -

Do you squat?I had ongoing calf pain for ages and when I actually got the chance to look at myself on video squatting I bounced all the way down with my hamstrings hitting my ankles. When I started squatting with control the calf pain never came back.
