Thought it would be cool to have a thread for everyone to throw up some of the deeper more soulful stuff they've been listening to. I've seen alot stuff like Old Skool Thread, Techno Thread, Chillout Thread so yeah why not.

Doesn't necessarily have to be deep house just the deeper end of whatever genre your listening to; Techno, Trance, Minimal, Electronica, etc...

Yis probably know all about FP but if you don't know Fatima defo check her out. Her EP Mind Travellin' was released earlier this year which is really really nice and she actually does alot of stuff with FP's live group the Floating Points Ensemble. If you do a quick search You'll find some recordings.

I don't understand this worry from members about how many 'x' threads exist - too many oldskool, too many this/that/the other. It's not as if there sh1t loads of posts per day around here and you'll all struggle to find your personal favourite thread... there are lots of different styles within electronica and I see nothing wrong with people posting up 'list' type threads with youtube links etc - if there is no interest, they'll drift off into boards history...

This podcast is incredible. By far the best RA one I've heard. Love Fred P though so maybe I'm a bit biased.

The latest Deepchord Presents Echospace is top notch!

Some other deep moments... this first is a lovely deep electro track from ERP or Gerard Hanson or even more well known as Convextion. Quality how it starts out quite typically electro but moves on into a nice deep chord driven tune.

This guy Sven Wiesemann has been knocking out some really nice stuff. He's classicly trained on piano and his Xine series is completely based around his own compositions. Some of the stuff just melts in your ears. He played the TP not to long along ago but I poxy missed him!
