I'm not sure how relevant this is to this forum, but if anybody has any info I would be delighted. Let me give some background info to start with:

    I'm 17, 6"3 and 13 stone.

During the last year or two when I've been playin sport (Hurling, Soccer) I've began to have trouble with my heart and breathing. If it is a hard or physical match or training, which it usally is in intermediate in Kilkenny, my heart feels like its going to explode out of my chest, I can't catch my breath and feel spacy or dizzy. I also get a feeling that I'm not actually me when I'm playin if you can understand. During the last match I collapsed, had chest pains and blacked out for a bit. Although I went to the hospital and they did several tests they couldn't find any medical reasons and at the moment I'm on a heart monitor for the next week,

Thanks for reading this long-winded whine, and any help or suggestions would be appreciated to try get through this.

    Hi Junior D

Sorry but I have no option but to close this thread. It is against the forum charter for posters to give medical advice, and unfortunately the issues you described are best left to trained medical professionals to diagnose and treat.

Hopefully the doctors who are treating you will get to the bottom of this issue for you and you will get back to full health and fitness quickly.

    Best Regards,

    M
