Folks,

What is the story with Jackie Skellys under new management. I was thinking of singing up for one year in adnvace rather then direct debit, due to it working out cheaper then by paying this way. Would this be risky i.e in terms of the branch I am considering joining that it might shut down in 6 months, and I will lose my money

I think it'd be riskier joining up on direct debit given their well known practices of making it as difficult as possible to leave them.

Jackie Skelly won't be closing down per se. Energie Fitness are taking over the chain. So it shouldn't really make a difference if you go direct debit or not. But, as for quitting, you will need to give them 60 days notice before you do so.
