    How will I put this,
Im going on 16 and Im 5'8 and 75lb, I wouldnt say Im fat but im a wee bit chubby and I have like muscle but it doesn't show really. This really upsets me as it doesnt reflect all the excercise/sport I do and it makes me very self-conscious. I know a lad who grew very fast and was too thin so he taking creatine. Im wondering if I take that will it help me achieve what I want.. Or am I too young yet.. I need advise and Im not comfortable talking to people about this so .. please..?

i'm assuming you mean 75kg, not lb... Anyway, you don't need creatine. you most likely need to sort out your diet/training. post up your full typical day's diet (honestly) and your training regime and see where we can go from there.

    ya kg sorry..

Well I play Gaelic Football and Handball and that would mean I have training 6 days a week ( with both ). I do press ups, planks and have these 4.5kg dumbells I use.

With regard to diet, I don't really keep tabs on what I eat but I do eat a lot of Meat, Vegetables and Bread, not so much fruit. I have been doing exams over the past few weeks which led me to eat a lot of junk, maybe that could be my down fall?

And is all this talk about Carbohydrates are bad for people wanting to shed weight true?

your goal is to lose a bit of fat, right? Well the basic law of thermodynamics is if you take in more calories than you use up, your body stores the extra ones as fat. If you use more energy than you consume, your body burns fat to make up for the deficit. White carbs such as bread, rice pasta etc if consumed too much are easily converted to fat if unused.

Try to centre your diet around protein sources, beef, chicken, eggs, nuts etc, healthy fats and keep an eye on your carbs and portion sizes. have 5-6 small meals a day with about 20-30 grams of protein in each and that'll be a start.

if you've access to a gym focus on compound movements, big lifts like bench press, squats, deadlifts, pullups, and pendlay rows.

if not, there's plenty of threads around here where Transform has posted his home workout vids lately.
