    HI,

I have been looking to put on muscle the last couple of weeks and have thought about using creatine. Alot of freinds have said that i will test positive for steroids and have some dramatic side effects if i take it. is this true?

    No, its not.

There may be some decidedly undramatic side effects.
And the other bit is just absurd.

    Do you get tested often?

Bearing in mind that nobody here has a bulls notion who you are and also that nobody would have any clue who these lads of yours are I'd say you are ok. But if you don't want to say thats cool.

    What age are they though?

    Ok.
When I was a kid, 16-17 maybe, I had some acne problems.
At one stage I asked a doctor about it. He said the only guaranteed effective treatment for my acne would be castration. (Funny guy)
It was due to testosterone levels associated with being a teenager.
I would venture that your mates are probably training hard (otherwise why the creatine?) and getting a hormonal response, a surge of testosterone to recover from the training stress. This coupled with the massive testosterone level associated with the late teenager, is more likely to cause acne than the consumption of creatine.

As for judging you, its an anonymous exchange on the internet.
You have like 4 posts, there is a good chance noone will ever know who you are irl from this exchange. Go on, tell us. This severe side effect could have nothing to do with creatine.

well we were doing a morning gym session and one of the lads came in to me and was acting all depressed and **** and looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. So i asked him what was up.....he just said that he felt like he was falling apart and that something had happened the night before................

So i asked him to just talk about and he was like ' look i was in the bathroom last night taking my creatine.....and well my knob fell off. just dropped straight into the toilet with a plop'

so i was like **** what are you going to do. so he pulls this box out of his bag and in it he had his knob on ice. h said he wanted to wait to ask coach what to do.

He showed me what was left where his knob should have been and tbh it just kinda looked like a vagina. i mean if i get big from taking creatine and my knob falls off, how bad. i mean vaginas aren't so bad, like, most girls have them?

I thought that was pretty funny in fairness, especially when you went fishing for this dramatic "side effect"! Gas. :D
