The laptop GM story wasn't planned. It was a last minute thing to explain the absence of Bret (who WWE thought would be there). They went that way to put a pin in it. I reckon it will be sorted soon enough - once they have decided who will actually be the new GM.

Hope the GM won't be a letdown. Then again the WWE never ceases to amaze me.

I have a feeling that we'll be very disappointed at whomever is appointed GM.

They have 3 more RAW's including this to get 8 people into the Money in the Bank match. They couldn't starting building for it last week because?

    Irrelevant.

He needs credibility and he needs it soon

This is the first time since January I'll have a chance to stay up late to watch RAW live.

I'm throwing the question out to the forum: do ye reckon it'll be worth staying awake for?

The credibility part I agree with but it's not exactly often that a main event heel gets a clean win though, is it? Last guy Sheamus beat clean was Mark Henry (24/5/10) to qualify for Fatal 4 Way but then he's been fighting Cena to DQs and non-finishes.

Edge is in a similar position. Last guy he beat clean was Jericho (24/5/10) to qualify for Fatal 4 Way. Cena was in the match aswell but.. y'know. :p Before that, the week before, he beat Christian clean before losing to Undertaker by count-out. Before that he beat Jericho at Extreme Rules (25/4/10) but was the face.

As for Sheamus, he was beating Triple H that night. Technically clean, but he was battering Haitch with a steel pipe beforehand to spare us from seeing Triple H curtainjerk. ;)
    Too....many.....ads!

#Ooooh oh these words are true.

Ha. Too True. It depends if you are watching an American stream or on Sky Sports. Some of the American ads crack me up every time. Some of them are just so cheesy and dumb.

I'm just hoping that Stephanie doesn't turn up tonight to give an update on her dad. Remember the last time that happened?

    No, what happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭Ridley

    No, what happened?

Orton gave her an RKO didn't he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭chordtype

    No, what happened?

Well if I remember correctly (and god knows I've tried to forget this whole programme) Stephanie returning pretty much added nothing to the Randy Orton - Triple H Mania build from 2009 apart from her and Shane annoying everybody.

And yeah Orton gave her an RKO while Hunter was cuffed. Hope they don't do the same thing with the NXT guys.

I would pay to see the standard NXT Clothesline/Barrett Slam/450 Splash done to her

I agree that this is the best Raw has been in awhile. Newsworthy shows = ratings imo.

Great Raw vs loads of ads... hmmm tough call. I'll try and stick it out til the end

Savage opening promo from our red hero. Can't believe it took me so long to get on his bandwagon.:)

Oh our general manager has just confirmed that this storyline is, in fact, lame.

why do ya think its genius?? its only a steel cage match!

Apart from Sheamus this opening was amazingly terrible. Someone tell Cena to stop doing comedy in your serious main event angles.

Way to sell the NEAR CAREER ENDING INJURIES from the past couple of weeks by just running around the ring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,542 ✭✭✭glenjamin

Anyone got a stream they could PM me?

Hrn. Guess it's time for Sheamus' monthly clean win then. I liked the opening promo from both (and wacky InstantManager being ignored) but yeesh Sheamus vs Henry is going to be painful. :p
