So we dont have 30 subway stores, 17 mcdonalds, an intergrated transport system, actully scrap that one, neither do you. the night club is the hotel function room. not all of them have traffic lights so you have to excuss some of the culchies when they visit the big smoke and get thrown by the flashing red, green and amber lights. please dont give out when you cant get your choca mocka lucka coffee yolk, will nescafe or lyons tea do. You see, we simply dont have the demand, we dont have the same number of cars, people etc.

thats why you visit the country, to get away from it all, so chill out, 48hrs wont kill ya without your 3g phone.

ps, am not a culchie or even a townie for that mater, born and raised a city lad so can see both sides

    ;)

rural people seem to be suffering with a inferiority complex around here. Why do you constantly have to justify yourselves.
Nobody cares about your little towns

Ah Swords, the last bastion before the big smoke. It is truly a provincial town on a Dublin scale. I refuse to go out there even though my friends think its "great to see everyone you know all the time". No, it is not. Taxi to the city centre please.

because i have lived (born and raised) in a city, and have lived in the country, so i can appriciate having everything on my doorstep to having do without some things, and can maybe see why people from the country can be over awed when the visit the bigsmoke
