Any idea if they're offering a test version of the Leinster away jersey? The supporters jersey has horrible material.

No - JD Sports bought Canterbury a year ago so they are still in operation.

Its like they suddenly remembered what shade of blue Leinster used to wear.

Apparently the ERC are insisting that all teams in this year's Heineken Cup release a third, 'European' jersey.

It's an improvement, but I'd still prefer to see some royal blue and gold in there somewhere.

I'm presuming Leinster won't get a new home jersey till after next season?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,352 ✭✭✭funky penguin

Very true, those stripes down the side would be nice in a gold colour.

Have they offered a decent reason why?

adidas & Munster Rugby are looking for one Munster fan from each of the six Munster counties - Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, & Waterford to be part of a shoot to launch the new 2010/2011 alternative jersey.

The shoot will take place on the day of Wednesday 7th July in Thomond Park with six players including Paul O’Connell, Doug Howlett and Keith Earls.

If you fancy taking part, email adidasmunster@whpr.ie before Sunday 4th July with your name, county, date of birth and contact number and state why you believe you should represent your county there on the day

as in they are not using the navy and white jersey anymore?

i was hoping they would change back to last years darkish red instead of this years liverpool colour

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 785 ✭✭✭ALH-06

new training jersey as well - don't think it's been posted before.

I'm quite please with that, actually. Though the continued absence of gold is regrettable, it would not have suited the colour of this jersey anyway...

The white one would be ok if it didn't look like someone took the spraycan to it in MSPaint! Very like Castres.

The red adidas have used is the same in both home jerseys, though i do prefer the last canterbury shade. Home jersey isn't changing, everything else is. What is coming is meant to be terrible.

Usually like the SF kit, but that new one is too much even for me. Vomit inducing are the actual words used.

Quite like the training jersey actually, i'm a sucker for anything a little bit different!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Morf

I think i'll be feeling the blue magic to the tune of two test jerseys and the new training top. I'm such a sucker.

So, you don't actually own both the jerseys then.

no, i don't. so your saying the photos are misleading?

So, you don't actually own both the jerseys then.

The shades of red in the last 2 home jerseys is completely different.

The test european jersey is already sold out in XXL on the Leinster rugby shop. I saw the second pro version is a bricks and mortar today. The material the same as the first pro jersey and still awful.

What kind of jersey is that supposed to be? It's not even remotely connected to the Munster colours
