Just an enquiry - has anybody done the part time Cisco CCNA course in CIT?? Just finished college, really want to go into a career in tech support and CCNA is a requirement for most positions available in Ireland.

If anybody has any feedback they could give me on how the course is taught, how thorough it is etc. I'd appreciate it :)

I did it last year, and passed the exam first time in Oct.
If you've any specific questions feel free to PM me.

You get access to online notes, practice exams, simulation software and there's books provided too.
Our lectures were Wednesday evening if I remember correctly and labs were either Thursday, Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.
They try and get everyone in the lab group that suits them best but I got landed with friday nights

The course is divided into 4 books and after each there was a multiple choice exam and practical.

I thought it was run quiet well and the lecturer and lab guys were helpful and friendly.
The CCNA exam itself is done off site nearest place is in Little Island.
The qualification is valid for 2 years after that you have to repeat the exam or do another cisco qualification to keep it valid.
