Why do *some* Irish men think its acceptable to grope women in nightclubs?

My thread was closed down before because I forgot to say *some* Irish men are gropers. The thread I was referred to doesn't really have anything to do with the topic of my thread which is asking why *some* (not all) men I have encountered in Ireland have a very blase attitude to perpetrating what is technically considered sexual assault.

The other thread is about a woman repeatedly being asked by a co-worker (not a stranger) to kiss her and give him her phone number.

*Some* men get drunk, then think nothing of reaching out and touching a womans arse or breasts. Why is this? Why do they think they're entitled to do it?

But why do so many women put up with it? It just makes them think its ok! I always get angry, tell them to eff off and slap their hands off me, but many women ignore it.

How do you feel when it happens and how do you react?

And can anyone recommend a forum where I can get mens perspective on it and why they think its acceptable behaviour if they do it because thats the insight I really want to get?

I'm sorry you disagree, but the thread was not about that one instance, it was about pushy guys in nightclubs, and I think groping comes under that heading, you may need to read more of the thread perhaps.

I don't think there's a need for two threads on the same subject.

If you require men's perspectives, you could try The Gentlemen's Club but they might not be able to answer, being gentlemen :)
