The Real Sarky

Despite popular beliefs I - as head of scribe - can share with the Nest the true personality of our feared instigator, Mr. Sarky.

While he might come accross as harsh, evil - or some even whisper - the Devil's assistant, as it is, none of this is true.

Our Sarky loves flowers and rainbows and Skittles. On sunday afternoons he volunteers in the old folks house and enjoys drinking tea and eating biscuits with them. He also recently adopted a kitten, a 3-legged dog and has a goat called Bob.

As if that wasn't enough - Sarky is a regular blood donor and brings around the Meals On Wheels in his local village. Seamus from next door decribes our Sarky as "A fine young lad with a heart of gold".

Every friday night Sarky goes down to the local pub to have a drink with the GAA lads, of which he is a great supporter. He sits on his usual barstool and has 2 pints of Guiness and a bag of Tayto cheese & onion before returning home.

There you have it, dear Nesters, Our Sarky is just the best lad in the wordl!

I had some skittles this evening because I saw them in a shop and thought of this thread.

I heard he's nice to children and the elderly.

He often shows up at the local old age home with a book and sits for hours reading to them.

I hear that today Sarky is giving out free burritos on Dawson Street for the poor, drugaddicts, single mothers, foreigners and all other minority groups.

That's strange, I heard that he has a table set up on O'Connell street and is giving out tea and sandwiches to the poor and hungry, as well as anyone else who wants them, just because of the great humanitarian he is.

People are amazed at his kindness, they say he ''gives everything, but asks nothing in return'', that ''he is like a male version of Mother Theresa, right down to the habit.''

His kindness knows no bounds, for he is Sarky, the giving.

My parents were away for the week, so I couldn't cook dinner for myself.

He came up from Cork to Dublin, knocked at my house with a freshly baked lasagne, just so I wouldn't starve. Then he read me a bedtime story.

Today, our Sarky, is handing out bottled water to the oldies so they don't dehydrate in this heatwave!

I've kinda just been lurking when I'm on.

Have loads of things going on IRL as well.

I heard Sarky is being put forward for sainthood.
And not a second too soon if you ask me.

The way he personally feeds and bathes those homeless people really is deserving of that sort of thing.
