Sprained Ankle...FFS!

So I sprained my ankle yesterday, got an X-ray and nothin broken just sprained. Iced it twice for 20 min periods yesterday evening and got it wrapped today, just been elevating it, dont think I need to ice it anymore.

Any suggestion on best ways to care for it.

Was told to elevate when possible, try to keep walking correctly on it and maybe in a week walking will be ok and in a month some light sport might be ok.

Not looking for medical advice, just other people experiences and what they did.

Thinking I might just go ape-s**t on upper body stuff and sit ups kinda thing, wanna keep strength up and try to keep some core fitness goin. Cheers for any advice.

Hi unfortunately any advice given here would be against the forum charter.Advice given here could lead to you doing serious injury to yourself. Id stick to what the GP has said.
