I was looking for something to track my progress with the 5x5 and also my diet. I came across this site and just signed up, and I'm impressed so far.

Big plus for me is the iPhone App. I can put in my info while at the gym and it syncs them to 'my locker' (Bit American for my liking) Also keeping tack of food intake through the day is a breeze with the App.

    www.dailyburn.com
May not be for every one, but though some may want to check it out.

    Oh and its all free.

    Pip

I've used the app, and found it awkward to set up the account.
I made a mistake early on with a stat (metric vrs imperial) that I could never get right

    might give it another go

was putting something together about Fitness/Gym apps this week... here's some links I'd bookmarked (mix of free and paid):

    Cheers flywheel for the links,

Review after work out for DailyBurn. Useless for the gym::mad:

You can not edit a work out or delete an exercise for a work out. So the pre programed 5x5 that was in there needed tweaking and no can do. Also fiddly to use

I reverted back to GymBuddy App last night, which does exactly what I want it to do. Input reps and weight, it saved the times I add them in. Job done. One down side is there is no desimal point for the weights (I'm increasing by 2.5gk each session) Although there is a new version available which I think has sorted this. I'll let you know.

The plus point of the DailyBurn is the fiood side of things. Great to be able to add in what I had on the iPhone and for it all to be on my logs when go to the mail side. Excellent amount of pre programed food, and easy to add your own with an image.

Now if they could just combine the pro's of both Apps............

I'm pretty sure you can do your own workouts. In fact I'm certain as I just did it.
Has 30 mins to spare, so did 50 DLs, 8mins treadmill, 15 mins HIIT. Went in as one routine, cals calculated etc

My problem with it is the food.
If I have a tuna salad, the range of calories for different options is huge.
Same for sweetcorn, so many options, two were both 100g with different cals.
I found it easier to track my own cals
