    Hi,
There is a little house sparrow chirping all day on his/her own,up on the corner of our roof/gutter.

Why is it chirping constantly on his/her own? Is it happy or calling out, it looks perfectly healthy

Probably has a nest nearby - it's what they do and I'm sure it's quite happy. :)

As previously stated he probably has a nest there, now all he's looking for is a "wife", so he will call constantly to attract a female, she will inspect the site and if up to her standards they will set up home, if not, he will keep calling until the right lady comes along.

It's just communicating to the Hen and Chicks that he's still there looking after them. It acts to settle the newly fledged young ones and also tells other males that he's still around.
