    Team news (from goal.com)

    South Africa

"Everton star Steven Pienaar has admitted that he is tired, but that won’t stop him from featuring in the heart of Bafana’s midfield.

Carlos Alberto Pereira is in the fortunate position of having a full complement of players to select from, and there is little reason to switch his squad about greatly after a positive showing on Friday."

    Uruguay

"Walter Gargano was a shock omission from the squad that played France, and it could be that the playmaker is reintroduced into the fold for the Celeste come Wednesday. They could certainly use a little more invention in the middle of the pitch, but Oscar Tabarez has hinted that he will instead use Forlan in a withdrawn role behind Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani.

Nicolas Lodeiro is suspended after seeing red against les Bleus."

Match 17 already? Time flies when you're watching shoite football.

Would like to see South Africa do well but I think Uruguay have more going for them in attack.

    2-1 Uruguay.

If the BBC commentator mentions Forlan's time at United one more time...

... I'm turning back to George Hamilton.

Better the devil you know and all that.

Can someone confrim or deny for me that it's still two yellow cards and you're suspended for the next game? Or have the changed that?

If so, isn't that Pienaar's second?

EDIT - wrong about Pienaar (could have sworn he was booked in the first game) - still not sure about the rule though.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Doesn't work on the high pitched whines about the vuvuzelas though, unfortunately..

dont mind me on this one ive Forlan in my FF team, just persumed he'd have taken the peno if they got it:p

Dear god, the regularity with which both times are giving away possession so easily is ridiculous! For fuk sake, someone just put your foot on the ball, look around and make a pass. It doesn't matter if it's sideways, passing sideways stretches teams - Just stop trying the most difficult pass imaginable every single time!

<edit> incidentally, i think betting on SA getting a penalty would be a decent shout. I could see the ref giving the hosts anything anyway justifiable in the box.

Yup, is indeed. Dikgacoi is going to miss their match against France after picking up his second tonight.

Game over, 10 men, keeper gone, and a penalty with 15minutes left.

<edit> I have a feeling he's not going to score...

I always thought a Red and a peno is harsh, getting doubly punished

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Another keeper going in feet first and paying for it
