The positive thread: I like the J.C. because...

Right, everyone is a little stressed (including me) half way trough the exams so for a change something positive. Get the negative energy out of your system and post what you like about the J.C. Forget predictions, negative press and all that.

And also what a great first impression the thread will be for incoming 3rd years.

So rather than being dull start your sentence with positivity:

I like the J.C. because...

plus I'd love to see what everyone else likes.

Post as many times as you like, just not one after the other.

I like the J.C. because... it is a real challenge and I get special treatment after the exams!

I like the JC because of the long lunches as previously mentioned and the feeling of satisfaction after finishing each exam

I like the junior cert because..
-of feeling your 3 years as a junior student is over.
-a feeling of purpose to your days not just boring summer days.
-and we all feel happy when we are able to answer a question in an exam so possibly a hint of satisfaction.
-and it makes us all feel grown up, doing state exams and all the security put in place

I like the J.C. because I'm actually enjoying the whole experience and I love it because I love that feeling fo satisfaction when you come out and feel like you've aced the paper.:)

I like the JC because:
- I feel satisfied when answering an exam question/finishing in exam
- I can understand questions that I never knew I would. I know not to underestimate myself
- It's satisfying predicting exams right
- I get to drop my most hated subjects for LC
- I get paid for every honour
- I'm more appreciative of my spare time
- Transition Year follows third year

I like the JC because it's almost over, because even if I feel screwed for an exam I can always say 'sure it's only the junior cert!' and because it's going to feel amazing when it's over...and because TY is almost here!

I like the JC because it's nearly over, and you can;t beat that feeling you get when you finish your last question in an exam and think, 'Whoah, i never have to write a single word about geography ever again!'.

Also, because I'm going to Portugal the day after Metalwork! Was going to see Green Day and Paramore with a few friends, but this kinda got in the way!

I like it because I thought it was going to be horrible, but I thought it was easier and more chillaxed than the christmas tests to be honest. (so far)

I like the Junior Cert because...

• The anticipation before opening a paper gives me a thrill.. I don't know why but I love the feeling of not knowing whether the things I know will come up..
• The satisfaction (as was said before) of finishing an exam knowing you got a B or higher.
• The craic is had during long lunches!
• The superintendents actually talk to us, not like teachers during house exams and mocks -_-. They actually care and aren't too strict.
• I feel somewhat prepared for the pressure of Leaving Cert exams. I think it's a great way to experience what a state examination environment feels like.

I like the JC because (in my case) it gives me great pleasure to see kids who have been told all their lives (and believe) that they are useless at everything come out with high marks.

JC result day is always lovely. LC result day not so much - often with a lot of disappointment, except for the LCA kids who have a fair idea of how they have done because of having half the exam done in 5th year.
