I'm thinking of just lumping on the win at 8/13.

    The -1 is tempting too.

Going to go for the -1 myself.

    Alexis Sanchez Anytime @ 13/8

    Suck It.

With the rate the goals are going in, I wouldn't be backing Chile at -1. Went for Chile to win myself.

Been very impressed with Chile all thought qualifying. These most interest me right now...
    • Draw @ 13/5
    • Chile win and H Suazo to score @ 15/8
    • Chile win and Sanchez to score @ 13/5
    • Chile to win and Fernandez to score

Suazo was the top scorer in the WC qualifying in South America.

I expect to also stand out, Sanchez and Fernandez. 2nd and 3rd highest scorer for Chile with 4 and 3 goals respectively.

The draw, Chile win and Suazo score + one of the other two is what I'll be going for.

I've seen 3 of Honduras' friendly games and their performances must make them the poorest side in this WC. They are terrible at the back, have no creativity in midfield and other than Palacios they have nothing up front. Just a bad team overall that was lucky to qualify.

Chile on the other hand finished second in the SA group just 1 point behind Brasil and were quite impressive in their friendlies winning their last 3. They have a lot of attacking power and are okay at the back. A little weak in certain areas. But they should still have enough to beat Honduras.

I reckon i'm going to take

Chile -1 AH @ 2.30 on PP. Possibly 50e stakes.

Chile and Spain straight win double at 20 stakes.

And at 2-5 euro stakes i might 2 or 3 of the below

A Sanchez to score first insurebet @ 5.00 on PP
Chile to win to nil @ 2.40
    Draw/Chile at HT/FT @ 4.20 on PP
Jara to score first and Chile to win 2-0 @ 101.00 on PP
Fernandez anytime goalscorer @ 4.00 on PP

If Suazo starts i might do a small bet on him as first scorer.

Yeah it's been a bit of a weird one alright. I haven't bet at large stakes since the first 2 days. Just a few interest bets. But i have a feeling that both Chile and Spain will win tomorrow given how much they have impressed me and how much their opponents have not. I think they will both win by 2 goals. Especially if Suazo starts for Chile.

Chile/Spain double. Even money. Can't go wrong.

Is Suazo expected to start? Thought he was out.

    That Chile/Spain double looks nice.

Afraid to go anywhere near handicaps.

I'm steering clear of this one, just have a feeling that it won't go all Chile's way.

Doin Spain & Uruguay (+1) double, works out at 3/5 roughly.

    Is suazo definitely available?

Agree re Sanchez, I'm expecting him to excel in this tournament.

Gone for a couple of small bets on Alexis Sanchez first goal & Chile 2-0. Don't know enough about Honduras to bet big on this game.

That goal was due. Chile have been very lively going forward. When Honduras go a goal down they seem to lose a bit of fight. Well from the games i seen them play in before they did anyways. I think they could be vunerable to one or two more goals.

Nah didnt do it,all my money's riding on Chile so nothing left to play with although those odds were crap.Thinking of having a look at this market though for the second round of games, referees vs defensive players with a few yellows this season.palacios had 8 league yellows this season while Carmona had 10,both booked so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,933 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

i reckon im going to lump it on chile -1

ill wait around 5-10mins into the 2nd half

got involved with the special treble in Powers,
Chile,Spain and Uruguay @9/2,if they all win to nil they double the odds

as i think Uruguay is dodgy did another treb, the first 2 to win and Uruguay draw,as that's the last match i hope to be quids in as i think the best S.A will do is draw

Would you not have considered Chile -1? I believe it represents better value as I don't think Honduras will score so it'll be up to Chile to make it over 1.5 for you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Why the fook didn't Ponce just kick it in. Fecking defenders.

That save from the Chile keeper was amazing...and no i'm worried. I can see the full-time analysis, with Didi Hamann saying that that was the pivotal point in the match. "That really turned the tide for the Hondurans, and without that they wouldn't have secured this unlikely 5-1 win......and THAT!"
