Why aren't you out enjoying the sunshine?

I've been outside most of the day, digging the garden... it's frigging pelting down sunshine. I've the portable TV sitting on a stool out the back with the colour adjusted to a crazy setting so I can see it (just about) in the sunshine & watch the f***ball & I've come inside now to take a break and have a smoke & a coffee...

So what's your excuse?

The sun bothers me, I can't see, sensitive eyes, irritating, tiring, also it always sneaks up on you in this country and then you're not dressed right for it. It makes you loose your appetite too and then there's sunburn. Also it's a knacker magnet.

Boards helps me get through the boring work day. If it wasnt for boards helping me cheat on my leaving cert and get into college, I wouldnt have this job in the first place.

I have to write a good thesis so I can get one of them things they have in other countries (jobs I think they're called), so I can get the **** out of here and come back in 20 years when the people left behind are still going to mass and voting FF.

The poll is gonna be bias. All the unemployed are out enjoying the sun. While us suckers try get throught the day with boards escapism.

And my manager just asked me to stay back an extra hour :mad: I get off at half 4 on thursday now and the sun better be shining.

I'm not even cooking my own! A german friend is coming over and cooking the food and bringing the beer and it's his birthday!!!! App it's tradition to bring the supplies on your birthday in Germany. Who am I to argue.
