    Whats the best diet for male muscle toning or a Male just starting to lift weights ie what would you have for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Supper etc.

    I have a crap diet eating lots of choclate sweets.

    My height is 5ft 6
    Weight- 12.5 stone

    I bought a tub of whey protein

    Take a read of the stickies at the top of this thread and take a rad of the stickies at the top of the fitness forum. That will answer all of your questions and set you on your way. There is no 1 fits all diet. As a rule of thumb you should cut out most sugar and refined (white) flour so that includes white bread, pasta, white rice, most boxed cereals, chocolate, crisps etc

    Stick to whole unrefined foods, foods that are ingredients rather than foods that have an endless list of ingredients. So plenty of fresh fruit and veg, lean meat, fish, nuts and seeds, legumes, porridge, wholegrain rice, quinoa, cottage cheese, dairy.
