Still could be, you know what they say about the finals of the 100m ;).

OP you should post some more details like your sport, position, current training etc. if you want more detailed answers.

Do a lot of 30m sprints flat out, 30m sprint - 30m relax - 30m sprint on the track or grass and full GAA field length flat out.
In gym do lots of Squats, Deadlifts and pull ups.

    Finally work on your core.

Plyometric work is on way of helping to increase speed - we did some of the exercises here when doing speed work with the Irish sprint coach. Bounding and high knees, being on your toes the whole time. I know quite a few GAA players use a power chute thing or other alternatives like these. Ladders are another way to get you up on your toes as well. Strengthening your core will also give you a natural springiness in your play as well

What training do you do with the club and what position do you play??

work on your running/sprinting technique, with GAA playerrs alot of htem have terrible running technique, after that decide on what element of speed you need to improve - is it acceleration or top speed, both have different training requirements
the main thing affecting speed is the recovery, generally take 1 minute for every 10m sprinted, do 30m sprints with good technique to start with
