As suggested by Colm! in the OT, in order to keep the OT free from talk about exams and Off Topic (as the name suggests) please place all relevant nervous breakdowns/rants/any other exams related feelings within the confines of this thread.:)

I nearly ended up in a nervous breakdown in English Paper2 earlier. I seriously started to panic when I read the studied questions. I somehow felt that I wasn't able to do them and had no clue what they were asking. Safe to say that after I got started into the rest of the paper and the unseens my nerves calmed and I was ready to take on the rest of the paper.:)

I feel that I may have anothe rbreakdown during Paper 2 of Irish tomorrow. Unseen poetry and me do not mix very well at all. I always end up with a completely wrong meaning of something.:(

I will have a breakdown during Irish tomorrow. It's my worst subject and with the exception of my studied poem and story I feel under-prepared.

I did freak out a bit between the English exams but I took the advice one of my teachers said and I just sat back for a couple of minutes, breathed, and thought of a funny memory. It worked for me.

I was on the verge of tears in Irish paper two when I realised I didn't understand a word of the unseen prose and I only had 5 minutes left to somehow suddenly understand it and answer all 3 questions on it.

I survived by stopping for a second, taking a deep breath and a drink of water.

when in doubt find a word from the question in the story and write out the entire paragraph surrounding it.

Aw maybe you're just under estimating yourself? Paper 2 might bring you up?
And if not just think at least you will probably and more than likely do better than me!

You're not alone so don't worry! Just think that it's only 90 marks if you done very good in your tape and paper 1 then you should be fine!

I really hope you know that you are not alone. I nearly cried too! Well I cried myself to sleep last night and I had hardly any sleep stressing about it. I just thought to myself how I'd spent 3 years with Irish being one of my good subjects and now the junior will show that I am less than average at it :/

Honestly, I thought I failed paper 1 in maths in the Pre, ended up getting 78% in it. Turns out what I thought I had wrong I had the methods right and they only take 3 marks off for a mistake so don't put yourselves down yet :)

Yesterday in maths paper 2 I went in and forgot my calculator. I tried ringing home and got no answer. I started crying like hell. Just a big mental breakdown. It was ok in the end i got a calculator from one of the maths teachers in the school!

I was so disappointed with myself later on because I studied so hard for it:(

I can see my self breaking down in History. I haven't opened a book all year after promising to study it every day. :pac: Some may say I know the stuff and once a Q is asked I can answer it but I can't make up essays for Q4 and personally, hate the layout for the history exam.
With all short qs of Geog you pass, with History, you barely get an E
