Things that don't make sense

Do you ever see/hear/read something, and can't for the life of you make sense of it or understand it at all?

Like why are people so obsessed with the iPad? What makes it so much greater than an iPhone except that it's bigger and shinier and newer?

And why do people convince themselves of things when they know they're wrong? It's not like it's going to change anything just because you think it's true.

And why do newspapers insist on writing articles that nobody cares about? A few weeks ago The Sun wrote about how some people on some American forum didn't like an Irish wrestler? Now that's just pointless, even by The Sun's standards.

Oh, and maths, can't make sense of them either :D

Religion. Not going all anti-religion but it astounds me how perfectly rationable and reasonable people can convince themselves and argue for something that doesn't have a shred of proof, doesn't make any sense and really relies on magic, and then it's all put down to 'faith'

Isn't this a kind of dilution of the power of news & even conversation, a keeping of The Sun readers' minds on topics of no consequence so that they don't pay those red Communists any attention?

Agree hugely here... Religion makes no sense at all and has absolutely no place in a modern, secular society.

    Ended?

Everything after the first one made very little sense.
Could also just be described as crap.

Also, unlike proper mass transit systems the world over, none of the various lines intersect at any point! If you go on the London Underground/Madrid Metro/Paris Metro/etc. there are 20-30 different 'lines' and all of them intersect across the city, so you can get to literally ANY point in the city from ANY station.

What does the LUAS have? 2 fúcking lines and the nearest point to each other is a good 15 minute walk (if Dublin is not crowded and you walk very briskly).

    Not good enough, I'm afraid.

And then, when they can't get the shaggin LUAS right, they want to build an underground as well?!?!?!?! FOR FÚCK SAKE, LADS!!!

Further, i never understood why there are no bins on the luas considering the amount of people who eat, read papers (metro) etc on them and just drop their junk afterwards!

    They do make sense..

    1) "After dark" means "after the darkness sets in" (or arrives), it's just been shortened.
    2) People taste dog food. No joke.
    3) The lyrics are a reference to a Dr. Hunter S. Thompson quote.
