Creatine & Fat loss

    I am one month into a fat loss program of 3 full bodys and HIIT per week and have definitely lost fat.

    I am considering using creatine for the next 4 to 5 weeks as I significantly up my training intensity.

    I know it will cause an initial weight gain due to water retention. Im not concerned about that but when I stop using the creatine how long will it take for the water retention to return to normal levels?

    In the experience of the experts on here is it a good idea to use creatine for a few weeks to really increase the intensity of training as in train 6 days per week and thereby Fat loss?

    Normally for me it takes about 2 weeks

    Creating may not even cause weight gain. I'm told it doesn't in women, and not in all men.

    Remember, it's only water, not fat.

    Creatine is definitely worth it. There is a huge volume of research to show it's a safe supplement that allows you to train a little harder for a little longer, which has to be good.

    I suppose the main question is how much water can one expect to retain and how long does it take to lose once creatine usage is stopped

    Also, IS it true to say that creatine wont interfere with or inhibit fat loss?

    Once again...water retention can vary from person to person.it depends what type of creatine you are using and the person taking it.

    As long as you are eating a calorific defecit you will lose weight.
    Creatine aids in muscle recovery.

    Creatine pulls water into the muscle with the aid of carbohydrates. If you aren't ingesting much carbs then the water weight stemming from creatine supplementation would be minimal.

    Take some creatine in your post workout shake when you'll have some carbs along with your whey, and the low carb the rest of the time won't matter. If you do a carb load, add creatine to that too.

    Note that Creatine Monohydrate requires carbs for an insulin spike to work properly. Creatine Ethyl Ester however doesn't require any insulin spike and can be taken on it's own. It will melt your tastebuds though, you have been warned.

    Whats the differnece between creatine mono and ethyl ester? The net says eletyl ester does not result in the same level of water bloating as mono any experiences of using either?

    Never noticed any difference except in price myself. Nothing I've read suggests that there's enough advantage to the expensive stuff to be worth the money.

    Monohydrate has to be taken with carbs as I said, it also has no effect on a small no. of people. CEE works for everybody. I prefer CEE just for convenience, but it is more expensive. The strength gains are quite similar for both types, it might give you that last rep on the last set, but that's all, don't expect miracles.

    No it dosent, creatine in any form does not work for everyone.
    There are people that wont respond to creatine supplementation.

    CEE seems to work for some non-responders to Monohydrate.

    Your statement is totally and opinion and far from fact, theres plenty of articles etc on the net.

    Creatine monohydrate is the only actual proven one, no other form has been 100% proven to be any superior to creatine, mostly its all PR bullsh*t.

    Its like me saying 100 bicep curls a day works for everyone to add an inch to their arms.
