Knee Trouble

Before I start, just pointing out Im not after medical advice, just an opinion. I have physio booked for tuesday evening!

Squatting Thursday night, first rep of first set, about 3 inches before I was at my lowest point I got a "slipping" sensation upwards over my knee cap and then a sharpe burst of pain.

Obviously I went down like a ton of bricks. Managed to get up off the ground, and just got ice straight away. Iv no real swelling as such on it, although fully extending my leg is a bit difficult (im putting this down to what ever swelling there is). No real pain walking since until this morning went down to do some push ups as part of a warm up and got the same thing again.

As I said im not looking for medical advise, just looking to know if anyone has an opinion to put my mind at rest over the long weekend?

    Cheers

Don't do owt but go to your physio. If you want your mind at ease watch hollyoaks.
When you get there describe every bit of pain discomfort and feeling you observe and what you were doing at the time.

If you need to go to a bbq make your mates carry you.

It sounds like something to do with one of the tendons that attach the quads to the knee cap, so Ice it and do as little as possible on it till you get to a Physio.
