    Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know we've a few courses going on in June in CFI.

The first up is an introduction to Olympic Lifting workshop on Saturday, June 12th from 12-3. Dominic (aka Transform) asked us to put something together for his clients and we've a few free spaces left. Full details here.

The weekend after, we're running a Mobility Workshop. Inflexibility leads to a whole host of problems in your training, and limits your ability to recover. d'Oracle attended the last one and you can read his write up here. Full details of the course here.

On the 26th June, we're happy to be hosting the Leinster Open Olympic Lifting competition. If you're about on the day, and have an interest in fitness, come on down and view the event. You'll get to see some seriously impressive feats of power, speed and accuracy.

    Thanks,
    Colm

I meant the Leinsters, as a spectator.
I have had an introduction to the Lifts from the lads already.

And they do it well, I urge people who want to improve their awesomeness and have no OL'ing experience or access to a Oly coach to book in.

I'll be down competiting but most definitely will not be displaying any of said feats above.

Anyone with a passing interest in olympic lifting should definitely go it's very impressive seeing the top guys lift in the flesh. You don't get an appreciation of the speed they move at by just watching videos.

    Hi everyone,

We've a couple of courses on for August if people are interested.

The first up is our kettlebell workshop. Kettlebells have really exploded in popularity in the last few years. They're extremely versatile, space efficient and you can use them to develop strength, stamina, balance and endurance, amongst other fitness traits.

The course is on August 7th and is run in conjunction with www.buykettlebellsdublin.com

    Further details here.

At the end of August we've our very popular introduction to barbell movements and bodyweight exercises one day course.

This is on Sunday, August 29th. Full details here.

September 18th sees the Invitational return, so anyone interested might want to start getting their metcon on ;)

    Thanks,
    Colm

    Hey all,

Some courses/workshops/events planned for the next couple of weeks:

Saturday, August 28th - CrossFit Ireland Bring A Friend Day. If you'd like to attend, please just contact us.

Sunday, August 29th - One Day Introduction to Barbell Movements & Bodyweight Exercises.

Saturday, September 4th - The Ever Popular Mobility Workshop returns. Even better than before if I do say so myself.

Saturday, September 11th - Introduction to Olympic Lifting for regular folk. We ran this course in June for Transform's clients who found it really beneficial to their training. If you want to get a firm understanding of the Olympic Lifts and how they can benefit your training this course is a great way to start.

Saturday, September 18th - The Invitational Returns! Our fitness competition has really exploded in popularity, and fully booked up within a day of registration opens. Admission for spectators is free for those who want to see some of Ireland's fittest athletes battle it out in a range of workouts throughout the day.

    Thanks,
    Colm

    Hey guys,

One spot left on Saturday's introduction to Olympic Lifting course.

Also, one of our members is going to be filming a documentary on CrossFit Ireland centering around our Invitational competition. If you're around on Saturday 18th (pre boards beers) please pop by, cheer on the athletes and say hey.

    Thanks,
    Colm
