I'm obviously interested in art and feel i am creative enough to get into the whole business of art, selling and creating.

I just finished my first year in art college.

I am just interested in how i can get my foot in the door while I study etc?
I dont need drastic changes, just tips and advice on where I can start out.

I am not the greatest, as I am still learning, however I dont want my degree (which obv isnt for years to come) to go to waste,i want to get out there and make a name for myself somehow!

cheers for any little advice at all! x

The one thing I hear from everyone is apply for everything. Residencies once you graduate (look worldwide), bursaries, internships at workshops/galleries ect. You might think you're not the best but you have to try. You can make connections and all of the networking will pay off one day. Sign up to all the galleries newsletters and eventually you'll get news about opportunities.
