    Hi there.

Just wondering if you guys know of any gyms in Dublin which have any of the following strength training equipment:

    -Safety squat bars/cambered bars
    -50kg plates
    -Farmers walk handles
    -Prowlers
    -Trap bars

    Much appreciated :)

RAW Condition gym in Portobello has the above.

Iv only ever seen a (meaning one) 50kg in the Basement Gym on North Fredrick St (doesn't have the rest though).

Pinnacle Gym (which is now RAW Condition) used to have Safety Squat & Chamber bars but these never got transferred when the gym moved etc.

Informed performance in Glasnevin would also have the above equipment as well (not sure on the 50kg Plates or Safety Squat/Chamber Bars though)

id say closest is "informed performance". 80 euro per month though, very expensive if you ask me. good set up though and id join full time if they had a treadmill or two and it was warmer in winter"!

just google informed performance dublin, you'll get the site easy enough.

Almost certain Informed performance has all of the above, not sure about

"Farmers walk handles" but think everything else is available

    -Safety squat bars- yes

    -Farmers walk handles- no
    -Prowlers- yes
    -Trap bars- yes

    Much appreciated :)
As above. We've also just installed a unique heating system called the human body. Basically you just keep moving and you stay warm :)

    Fitness dock have

-Safety squat bars (Well they have two power cages with safety bars if thats what u mean)
    -Farmers walk handles
    -Prowlers
    -Trap bars

They just got the farmers walk handles and the prowler and the sled recently.
    No 50kg plates though.

I find it hard to believe the Fitness Dock have a prowler, where have they managed to squeeze it into?? the gym is tiny and so crowded at peak times

Yeah they definitley have a prowler alright... I saw they had it out again last night.
They usually have a strongman session there on sat mornings at 11 now as far as I know. They have people using it from the top of the weights area up to the back of the cardio area.
