It was the church that I recognised, 'cos there's a reasonably memorable shot when the team go in and find the old man, and the church is in the background.

I've just realised that the last one is Adam Sandler and the harmonium in Punch Drunk Love.

Given its similarity to a shot in the original (which I know it isn't) I think 7 (the silhouette at the front door) might be the Coen Brothers remake of The Ladykillers.

My immediate reaction to the John Wayne image was The Flying Leathernecks, but what he's wearing is all wrong, so it must be The High and the Mighty, which is the only other one I can think of.
