theres this girl that works in a centra store near my. I'v talked too her a few times and she always speaks too me when in the shop.

would it be a good idea too add her as a friend on facebook.

I wouldn't to be honest. If any of the customers I speak to in work were to add me on Facebook I'd be more than a bit freaked out and would definitely not accept them as a friend - I'd actually be worried by it. Maybe talk to her a bit more first, and get to know her before you add her on Facebook.

She may get freaked out and never talk to you if you add her. Talk to her more and if the topic comes about Facebook ask her if she's on it. Or if you like her you could ask her out before adding her on facebook. :)

Unless you know her relatively well It would possibly alarm her if a random customer
    added her.

    Ask her out ya wimp!

If you need to ask "advice" on whether or not to add someone on Facebook, I think that's a pretty good indication you shouldn't.

i'v friends that work in the shop. so thats how i know her

If she's not your friend, don't add her. I've worked in shops before, and had banter with customers, but I would be totally freaked out if one of them sent me a friend request!

I think if you are talking to her socially not while she is at work that may be
the best way to initiate contact.

No, it would be creepy. I mean, I'm all for being a creep on facebook, but you have to be subtle about it. If you've friends that work in the shop arrange for them to go out with her and you as a group.

    don't do it!

If I was the girl in question and only knew you from you coming into the shop I wouldn't accept the invite to be honest!

Heh. 'That'll be €2.20 please'. Is not really talking now :p

I agree though that it would be a bit strange to a have a regular customer ad someone as a friend. Then again, I am not down with what all the young folk are doing these days. Is she friends with anyone else you know on FB?
If she is, maybe comment on things that she comments on too or something first. But not every comment.

FB has become something in addition to, or instead of a phone number.

Such is the progress of modern society.

    1. May I have your phone number? [in order to contact you, talk to you, send messages, have a bit of laugh or whatever]

    2. Can I have your Facebook? [in order to stalk you and your friends and see if there's a nipple slip in any of your pics]

well some people just add friend and don't even talk too them.

i don't understand why people need 500 or more friends. is it some kind of
    competition with other friends

That's because some people are sad. Why exactly do you want to add her? If your going to ask her out then just do it.
