Once again there is a case of a seeming mass murder in the uk where apparently 3 sex workers(I do not like the term prostitutes)have been murdered. Now surely the time has come for those non-human murderers to be punished properly. They do not deserve to have a swift death, let them suffer like their victims.A SLOW PAINFUL DEATH.

AH Reply: "Right folks, light the torches. Grab the pitch forks."

Serious reply: "I hope they get the conviction evidence to keep him locked in for life."
No loss to the state if he should have a nasty fatal accident while in there.

I heard the guy who killed them was actually doing some kind of thesis on serial killers for college? I'm sure that's not entirely accurate but it's pretty fúcked up all the same!

When asked his name in court , he responded " the crossbow cannibal " .

Prostitutes in the UK really do get a hard time, ever since Jack the Ripper went on the rampage all those years ago, there have been numerous copycat killings of hookers. I think they should regulate prostitution to give those misfortunate women at least some protection.

Maybe he's trying to add to his insanity defence!
What was it he was studying again?

Or which part of the world gives me the best chance of getting laid , when the obvious answer is <insert anywhere>:pac:

Anyway , this later serial killer will keep the mail readers and Skynews busy.

He was training to be a CSI , I think . He is innocent till proven guilty but they seem to have got their man.

I don't think he'll be getting bail in the meanwhile! :pac:

Im a fan of the term prostitutes myself. Has the word tit in it for a start. Not being an advocate for state sponsored murder I wouldn't be pro- the slow painful death for criminals angle myself. The death penalty doesn't reduce crime at all. So really any move towards execution would just be a backward step. To what end? Revenge?

How many more poor women have to die before they regulate the sex industry to ensure safe working conditions?

To be fair regulating the sex industry might be a good step forward but it won't stop serial killers serial killing people.

Someone who has the urge to kill will find a way, but having prostitutes standing on street corners is leaving them in a very precarious position and easy targets.

The only reason anyone paid notice to Jack the Ripper was that the killings happened in an area near "respectable" people. He wasn't the first :(

Indeed. Would also help reduce people trafficking. I know it could never be completely eradicated but surely regulation is a major step forward in that regard. I haven't been following this story much bar reading it in paper yesterday but I have a feeling the media will constantly refer to these women as "prostitutes". It irked me that they kept calling the girls in Ipswich that. They were more than just prostitutes. Maybe I'm just being finicky but it somehow cheapens these women. They're someone's daughters, sisters, mothers too...people not prostitutes

    Rant over

My guess is he studied it trying to avoid being caught or becoming incredibly knowledgeable about the subject. He is obviously obsessed with them, he had pictures of over 50 of the most notorious serial killers on his webpage.

The thing I find suprising about events like this is that The Daily Mail along with the rest of "respectable" society actually seems to care so much about Prostitures* being killed ??????

    * Dont think there is anything pejoritive about the term unless the person using it intends there to be

A killer who calls himself the Crossbow Cannibal is gold to the Daily Mail...although I can't think of anything "respectable" about that particular newspaper.

So it's better to spend thousands keeping then in jail for years, that isn't working either . Not that I know the answer.

If you put them all in a big room to starve to death, relatively low expense and fear of a torturous death:):pac:

Did they provide sexual services in exchange for money? If so, they were prostitutes

Yeah nothing more pinko and bleeding heart than saying that locking a bunch of people in a room to starve to death is somehow cruel.
    Christ.

Death by starvation ain't a bad idea, the only problem is it can be a bit too slow so it would create a back log in the system. You need the 'frying pan cell' - the cell would have a floor and walls that would easily conduct heat. Then gradually raise the temperature of the cell floor and walls, but first ensure in has a smearing of cooking oil. How slowly or quickly you wish to finish a scumbag, will obviously depend on the rate of temperature graduation. Revenge is in fact a dish best served warm or roasting.
