Gossip Girl - Season 4 [US] **Spoilers**

    "Gossip Girl" producers started casting the role of Eva on Monday (May 24), reports EW. This new recurring character is described as a gorgeous girl in her 20s or 30s with a warm heart and authentic French accent.

    And just where might this gorgeous French girl fit into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite? Let's revisit The CW's Season 4 spoiler tease released last week:
    "Season four will open with a radiant Serena and Blair enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris ... until Chuck mysteriously arrives in town with a new girlfriend and a new identity."

    So will we see the lovely French soon-to-be cast Eva arrive on the arm of Chuck (or whatever his new name will be) this Fall? Our guess is "yes."

    Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Matthew Settle and Kelly Rutherford returns, Also Hilary Duff was confirmed to return not as a Movie actress, But yet as a new anti-heroin of Vanessa's life. The creator was set a multi-episode make her as a[n] antagonist of the show resulting on Vanessa's selfishness. She was set to revenge with Vanessa and Dan her ex-boyfriend.
    (this last bit makes no sense to me!? A different character played by the same actress?)

    Taylor Momsen will be absent for an unspecified number of episodes, due to her summer Warped Tour concert schedule. Her character's absence will be brought up in the third season finale. It has recently been reported that Taylor Momsen will only be absent from the first half of the season (8-10 episodes), and will be back in time for November sweeps.

    Jessica Szohr will also be absent for an unspecified number of episodes.

    Michelle Trachtenberg will return for an unspecified number of episodes to fill the void left by Momsen and Szohr.

    The first two episodes of the season will take place in Paris.

    Shooting for Season 4 begins in early July in both New York and Paris.
