Why am I so hungry lately?

It's quite a recent occurrence, but now no matter what I eat, I am ravenously hungry a very short time later. At first I thought it only happened when I ate fruit, but now it happens after protein as well. As an example, today on waking I had some fresh fruit, then walked my dog for half an hour, which wasn't a workout at all as I just walked up the road to a park and sat there for a while. Then I went home and was hungry, so I had a chicken breast and a plate of salad. For about 5 minutes I felt fine, then I suddenly became hungry again, so I had a boiled egg. That was 5 minutes ago and now I'm ravenously hungry again. This never used to happen to me, I don't know why it's happening now. Apart from walking the dog, I haven't been doing any exercise lately due to shin splints, so it's not like I'm burning loads of calories. I'm in my late 20's, so not a growing child. I'm not pregnant. I had 3 blood sugar tests recently, I am definitely not diabetic. What else could it be? Even on days when I eat a whole bag of prawns and a couple of eggs for breakfast, I suddenly become ravenous a short time later. I don't think fat helps, I tried drizzling the prawns in olive oil and taking a spoonful of fish oil, but it didn't help. I do take thyroxine in the mornings but I've been taking that since I was a teenager and never had this problem before. My dose hasn't changed and my blood test results are normal, so it can't be that.

For the love of God discuss this with your GP/Thyroid specialist.
A fitness forum is not the place.
Hell the internet is not the place.

Yeah, you should talk to a medical professional about that.
