I'm not a student/super camp guy/child so no... but, ah... there's a lot of comedy value in it. Can be very funny (unintentionally).

Loved it when I was a kid - the voting bit was uber exciting.

Song's not the worst we've entered over the past few years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,706 ✭✭✭fonecrusher1

I can't, im terribly popular you see & i have several parties to attend on saturday night because im terribly popular. Anyway i must go as somebody is phoning me, probably to invite me to another blasted party. These dratted friends are forever trying to get me to go to the local drinking saloon.

    I have loads of mates.

Actually i will be watching it on my own, naked as usual with my favourite mannequins sitting next to me 'chatting' amongst themselves & then i'l pick a fight with one of them & then storm out of the house. Same old same old.

If they ever want to win this thing again they need to send some sexy girl singing some catchy number.

Personally i would like us to send someone who will sing "My Lovely Horse". It would be like a little joke that only the Irish and British wil get.:D

Wrong answer. You of all people are duty-bound to say you're indifferent to it - about everything.

I know how that bowl of petunias felt, in The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, after it materialised a dozen miles above the planet: "Oh, No, Not Again". :o

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Yeah I'll be watching if we make it to Saturday night. This business of having to qualify is just a racket, as is the voting these days but hey its a laugh!

Same could be said for the World Cup. They should just let every country compete. I can't see any logistical reason why this would not be possible.

    :D

I love the Eurovision. Even tried to get a song into it many years ago...

I'm stuck in Galway the weekend with work though... but I shall make my business to find somewhere to watch it.

Swiss song was called 'it's raining gold'.
    Golden shower anyone?

Ireland's song will live long in the memory, what was it called again?

Just watched some stunning women singing on eurovision semi's.

Have we no stunning women in Ireland that can sing??.

Niamh has a good voice, song is just ok,but they dressed her up in a purple sack FFS.

Romania should get through , she deserves it for getting into that skin tight leather outfit.

Oh and the song is quite catchy as well!.

Still the best eurovision performance ever ....
