    What's the deal with joining?

I know there are a few users here on this board. I wouldn't actually be able to join for another year as I have to move back to Kerry for a year. (sucks)

I was walking past it the last day so I went to call in and have a chat with someone but there was a code lock on the door or something so I said I'd ask here instead.

In case it's relevant I hope to compete in some PL event before I finish Uni......Hopefully.

Go in and talk to a commitee member, bring two passport photos, pay and that's about it.

RE: physcially getting in, obviously I'm not going to go shouting the code about for obvious reasons, but if ya go at peak times (5-7pm) you can just come in with someone and ask them if they can point you towards someone who'd help you join.

Just the man I was hoping would reply.

Yea think I'll do that it was only about 1pm when I tried, sounded pretty quiet like one person deadlifting haha.

So there's no having to be invited or anything....knowing a respected member haha.

Ideally you should be recommended by and existing member, but new non-recommended members are allowed to Join on a probation basis , memberships are submitted to the committee ,and once no one has any issues with you , you are good to go!

Hey Boss I thought there might be something like that alright, which is fair enough considering it's seems like such a high standard place.

I had a look at the site a few times.
I think if I had been joining next year I'd feel weak as **** lol

Hopefully the year off college where I can concentrate on diet and training will be bring up my numbers a lot.

new platform in hercs looks really good, unless things have changed since i was there years ago, just knock on the door at around 7 and someone will let you in and there always committee members there at that hour. Best gym in dublin for powerlifting by a long way
