Everything LSAD in here!

Crawford is in Cork. I think it might be part of CIT, but not 100% on that. It's a good fine art college from what I hear. I didn't look into it too much because the whole painting and pencils thing isn't my strong point.

Still no letter! I should hope we don't get a horrible list of necessities now with only a week to go.

Well me being from Longford i guess i never looked into it much! Limerick is far enough for me! i just applied to LSAD and NCAD as were only two id consider going i think! liked LSAD so much more thou! all my friends who are going to Dublin couldn't understand that :P i just didn't like NCAD vibe!?:P

there is a good list now of things we'll need! I seen it last year!
**Although someone left a good post on the materials for LSAD a while ago! if you want to start getting a few bits here's where to start so it don't bulk up on you!:)

How I'm going to travel up and down every weekend i don't know! Need to find a good library otherwise my pocket will burn with the price of reading material for the bus :P

im not going to lsad but im going to the it. rang up yesterday, they said they 'should be out monday':rolleyes:! im starting on tuesday and they propably wont be here yet:pac:

I totally agree on the atmosphere in Lsad being so good! I walked into the building and instantly loved it!! I had NCAD down before LSAD and after my trip to Limerick, LSAD was top of my list even though travel-wise Dublin would be so much handier for me!!

They're seriously cutting it close with the letters!! I was so sure we'd have them by today!!

hey ye im staying up for the weekend. Im not down in Grove island, but im like 10 mins away from it.

What we should really do is find out who will be up for weekend and organise to meet up, best way to find new friends

its only a few hours! literally i think all your doing is registering so not even an hour maybe?

btw i think its in LIT we have to register? it will be on the letter anyways!

I'm dying to get the letter so I can actually plan what I'm going to do!

I think I'm going to head to Limerick on Thursday and see if I can move into Grove then, register on Friday and then maybe stay down for the weekend to get used to the place. Hopefully there will be people around over the weekend?!

Got my letter as well:D. gotta get like most the stuff on the materials list, but all is good cause at least we all now know what we need, we're not "completely" blind anymore:cool::rolleyes:. Ye im moving down friday i think, going to college in afternoon to reg, and spending the weekend up there just to get used to it all.

this is to everyone, if you down over the weekend and like really bored, we can all organise to meet up in town over the weekend. means we can make friends with people which would make first week so much easier.

I heard from me Mudder that we start at 9:30 sharp, Monday. Haven't the foggiest where she got the info from however!

Moved into Grove a couple hours ago now. No other flatmates yet, all on me lonesome. *sob* Tomorrow should be lively enough!

I think that may be true I'm afraid! You're asked to write a brief piece about yourself/your work too, about 2 paragraphs, I believe.

Yeah a friend of mine got her letter from LSAD today. Apparently you get a written assignment (3 questions 150 words each) that has to be submitted with the portfolio. They keep your portfolio for around 90 minutes while you watch a presentation and get a tour of the school.

All in all, sounds like fun:D

Haven't got a letter yet but I think it's cos they're taking people in groups. Hopefully it all goes according to plan cos LSAD looks awesome:)

417 ain't bad, just do your best, I have no idea what people got the last few years tbh but I'm pretty sure plenty made it in around that mark.
