    Hey

    Thought I was being healthy today untill I looked at ingredients of John West Tuna in the pack with a twist of lemon. (Although it still could be just cant makes sense of it)

    Per 100g

    Fat=9.2(1.2 saturates)
    Protein = 15.6g
    Carbohydrate= 2.8g (2.1 saturates)
    Fibre= Trace
    Sodium = .3g

    Is this good?

    Can anybody recommend any prepared fish which is healthy and available in most grocers supermarkets etc?

    Thanks

    you can get precooked packets of mackerel in tesco and M&S! Great oily fish, really tasty and cheap as chips. Its around €10 per kilo in tesco and a little more. Go with the peppered!!

    Those Tuna with a twist packets are fine as a snack. Much better than most thing you can throw into your bag and eat on the run.

    Don't worry about the fat content, people often get over-excited about fat, and forget it's a necessary nutrient. There are some protein bars out there with similar macros.

    Lidl have some very handy single portions of fish.
