Shopping for large bra sizes in Dublin

Can anyone recommend anywhere for buying a size 34E bra in Dublin?

I'm looking for somewhere thats not over priced. I'm hoping for Penneys/ Dunnes type prices, but I assume that's unlikely at my size.

Any recommendations in Dublin City or County, or anywhere that Dublin Bus or the DART goes as far as would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Ash :)

Ais, I just moved your post over here to the ladies lounge, I think you'll get a much better response from the ladies here.

You can get pretty decent prices along with quality in Debenhams and La Senza. In La Senza, however you may need to adjust your size upwards as their bras sizes are small.

    Debenhams. La Senza. H&M.

OP, an E cup is big, but not so big that it requires shopping at a specialist outlet - I'd recommend Arnotts (Dublin city centre - Henry Street/Mary Street).
Debenhams and La Senza, as Nightwish suggested, are also very good for ranges. Fantasie is an excellent make of bra too if you have large-ish but not massive boobs (C/D/DD/E) - it's pretty much the only make I go for. They give superb support, without being mammy-ish "boulder-holsters", they give a lift, and they make your cleavage look fabulous! This make is available at Arnotts/Debenhams.
On the flip side, M&S bras of late aren't good IMO - they're too "low", as in they don't give your breasts a lift, they sorta leave them hanging.

It's very hit and miss, but there's a chance that TKMaxx would have a couple of bargains.

Penneys do a range in larger cup sizes... As do Dunnes.

I'm an E cup too and found you cant go wrong with M&S good quality and reasonably priced however not as cheap s pennys but they last a lot longer and the quality speaks for itself

I am 34 D and find that la senza bras go out of shape very quickly. M&S, debenhams and dunnes (for natural looking non-padded t-shirt bras) are good.

go to a good tesco extra store, believe me they do all sizes you could imagine and lovely styles. I've got some lovely ones there for 4 euros on sale. their prices average E9.00 full price. believe me I used to have an awful time getting bras till i stumbled across them. marks and spencers can be good but sometimes you dont want to be paying e30.00 per bra and i agree that some of their bras are a bit on the 'low slung' side. I used to dread bra shopping! tbh ifs its the pennys/dunnes price range you're looking for go to tesco because in my experience ms, debenhams, evans stc are all way more expensive.

I find Penny really bad for support. They put boobs into a weird shape or something so never get them anymore.

For cheaper bras I go to M&S. They are good quality, good support and a fairly large selection in the D cups anyway, not sure about E.

There's nothing better though than going in to Arnotts or wherever and getting measured and getting a quality bra but I only do that about once or twice a year.

I think M&S are good for larger bras, great support and nice selection from everyday sensible to saucy seduction ;)
La Senza I find absolutely mindboggling..every nice bra I found in there was padded - at a DD I don't need to add to the existing structure.
Pennys like previous posters I find although cheap, you've to replace very quickly as they have no support and go out of shape very quickly.
Dunnes I shall never shop in again after asking an assistant if they had any DD bras in stock, the reaction wasn't yes sure, follow me I'll show you....instead I got a quick look up and down followed by a sharp "we don't carry your size you'll need a specialist shop"....how rude..

I have also ordered from Victoria Secrets - fantastic value and every style has every colour under the sun.

    m& s are good

best place ever though i sbramora on earlsfort terrace (it probably looks like i own it as i keep recommending them, but i have no connection there!)

they carry the fanatsie, panache and freya range, among others

    they cater for large boobs

    very friendly and helpful

the bras can be dear but teh quality and fit is great, well worth it

Did shipping and customs not make them unfeasibly expensive though? I adore VS but simply can't afford to order online.

I've never been caught for customs (fingers crossed it will stay that way)
trick is to not purchase too much at once.....

American underwear is so much better than ours.
They are just made of better stuff, they hold their shape and colour for ages.

On the other hand I have an America friend who gets her underwear over here as she doesn't rate the stuff back home. She also gets fitted over here.

If you are going down the online route www.bravissimo.com is your best bet for large sizes. Though 34E isn't hard to find in Dunnes/Penneys/any of the department stores.

    My little sister is a 32 E/F

God love her she's only 16!

I never thought of going to the department stores like Arnotts.

We've gotten her a good from LaSenza but like it's been said before they fit well but are very low i.e. they give lift but you end up falling out the top!

Evans quality is shocking, not just in underwear. The finish is usually rough, almost like seconds. Also, even Evans tall range seems to stop at 5'9". The only hope you have is if they have a concession. They stocked Elomi bras for a while and they were great (I got four or five, I was like a child in a sweetshop) but their own brand stuff is ridiculous.

You can use the giftcards in Dundrum, as credit cards online.
