    I'm not really against bullfighting - I've seen a few in my time & found them very interesting, if not entertaining.

    Once you've seen one you've basically seen them all.

    Good enough for the fcuker, the bull looks like he's already taken a good few jabs.. I love seeing cruel bastards getting their just deserts.. I hope he has to eat his meals through a tube for the rest of his life..

    But there's little glory for the bull unfortunatley as said above, he's not exactly going to be put out to pasture now. Poor beast :mad:

    The bull was still alive. I'd imagine that they were getting him out of the arena the quickest way possible.

    ya see... this is the exact same crap you see when someone sends soldiers into a war zone... "OMG OUR SOLDIERS ARE BEING KILLED??? END THIS WAR!!!"

    If yer gonna fight... expect to get hit... he went in there knowing what was going to happen..

    Why should I have a "Thought" on this?

    Should I be out picketing about how vicious and wild bulls are... and that they need to be gotten rid of?

    The Northern Spanish and the Basques hate bullfighting, it's unfair to tag all the Spanish as being bull-killers and donkey-clubbers.

    It's a bit much to ask the bull to hang on a minute as the guys get the stretcher. Distract the bull and drag the geezer out of there fast. I'd love to see some health and safety officer with his little barriers and cones and hi vis jacket follow his guide book. (Apologies for the outburst, memories of working in the building game and some of those guys lacking any common sense in some situations:mad:

    ive been to bull fighting in portugal,great evenings entertainment.
    been to coursing when i was younger,no problem.

    I think the hare coursing would be more "humane" if they unmuzzled the greyhounds. That way the hare would be put out of its misery very quickly after the catch.

    There are bullrings in both Northern Spain & Basque Country. There are bullfights in Nortern Spain every year.

    The rings in Basque Country are no longer used for bullfighting, but although they would like to dissassociate themselves from all things 'Spanish' the Basques have a long tradition of bullfighting & bullfighters. albeit a historical one.

    About time one of the bulls got there own back.

    You should search Youtube for some of the torture that the bulls go through before actually even being dragged out and even then they are not dead a lot of the time.
