Jackie Skelly upfront membership renewal

I have an upfront annual membership with Jackie Skelly that I paid for in cash. I'm getting great use out of it and I intend to keep using it until its expiry date, which is some months away. After that, I want to suss out other options but might go back to JS again depending on what's available.

I know that the direct debit memberships that most people have require a 2-month notice with 2-direct debits to cancel even after the 12 month non-cancellable time. I'm guessing that this doesn't apply to an upfront membership, in that it should just expire when the time is up? Is that correct, or do I need to inform them that I will not be continuing at the end of it?

Hi I am an employee of Jackie Skelly Fitness. No you do not need to give any notice, once you are an upfront payer your contract will automatically expire when your 12 month contract is completed.

Uh oh you might regret outing yourself. :pac:

You have my deepest sympathies though, I worked for Jackie Skellies once, went for my break on my first day and never went back.
