    GPC Ireland are very pleased to be hosting the European Benchpress & Powerlifting Championships in Kilmurry Lodge in Limerick.

    The schedule is as follows:

    Monday
    Weigh in 9.30-11.30 Benchpress all women & men up to 75kgs
    Weigh in 13.30-15.30 Benchpress men 82.5 to -100kgs

    Tuesday
    Weigh in 9.30- 11.30 Benchpress men 100 to +140kgs
    Weigh in 13.30 - 15.30 Powerlifting all Women
    Lifting from 10am - Benchpress all women & men up to -100kgs

    Wednesday
    Weigh in 9.30 -11.30 Powerlifting Men 56 to 90kgs
    Lifting 9.30 - 13.00 Benchpress men 110 to -140kgs
    Lifting 13.30 Powerlifting all women

    Thursday
    Weigh in 9.30 - 11.30 Powerlifting Men 100 to -110kgs
    Lifting 9.30 Powerlifiting Men 56 to - 90kgs

    Friday
    Weigh in 9.30- 11.30 Powerlifting Men 125 to +140kgs
    Lifting 9.30 - Powerlifting Men 100 to -110kgs

    Saturday
    Lifting 9.30 - Powerlifting Men 125 to +140kgs
    18.00 Buffet Dinner

    Irish lifters hoping to compete will be required to qualify. The qualifying event for the Benchpress has already taken place. The qualifying event for the Powerlifting will be held on 17th April in Ger McNamaras gym in Limerick.

    Room rates for Kilmurry Lodge are as follows:
    Twin B&B 90 per ngiht, Single Room B&B 70 per night,.

    Entry fee: benchpress €50, Powerlifting €50 - both €80.

    You can also just come and watch , will be some very big lifting at it
