I was just wondering exactly how healthy this stuff is. I'm not trying to drop any weight as I think I'm at average weight for my height (5'6/116lbs) so I really did just want to know if anyone had the rough calorie count in 3 pieces were. I tend to only use 3 pieces when making a pitta for myself, and I just wanted to know if they were alright to eat a fair amount during the week.

    TIA :)

How long is a piece of string? Totally depends on the ingredient and size.

My big problem with them is that they are deep-fried in dubious oil.

    Florentin Falafel

These are lovely, no wheat, only sunflower, chickpeas and herbs!

I just bake or grill :D

It should tell you on the packet what the calories etc are.

Falafel ingredients are on the packet, but the calories aren't.
72% soaked chickpeas, onions, parsley, water, sea salt, garlic, cumin, sunflower oil.

Also, I oven bake my falafel.

EDIT: Whoah, my bad completely. They do indeed have the caloric value on the box, 100g = 180 cals. and there's 240g a box.
Think there's about 12 pieces per packet so I think it's a pretty healthy snack. Was wondering if there might be an even healthier way to eat them regarding pitta's and what not. I don't like eating them on their own, seem a bit lonely!

If it's an issue, e-mail and ask them. They are legally supposed to have nutritional information available.

They appear to be quite small.
Probably 10 - 12 per packet so 110-120 cals for 3. Inc the pitta and sauce, dressing the whole lot might be 250 cals
